Goodwill provides the following services for local youth:

  • One-on-one case management services in a flexible, community-based model
  • Occupational skills training
  • Life skills and character development training
  • Individualized assessment, counseling and career preparation
  • Job search and placement assistance
  • Post-employment services including assistance with job retention and advancement

Requirements
Goodwill staff will help individuals determine if they meet all entry criteria. Participants must

  • Live in Marion County
  • Meet income criteria
  • Provide necessary documents such as birth certificates or income verification
  • Have parental consent if younger than 18 years of age
  • Have proof of U.S. work eligibility
  • Face a barrier to employment such as being pregnant or parenting, having a criminal history, being homeless or being deficient in basic skills
  • Be willing to actively participate in services for a period of at least one year
  • Demonstrate need (as determined by the Goodwill case manager)
