Samples of student projects:
- Two students are building an airplane in partnership with the Experimental Aircraft Association and the Greenwood Aviation Center.
- An environmental and recycling project is implemented at the school.
- A student-led voter registration campaign registered 58 individuals before the Indiana primary.
- A disability awareness campaign includes an informational fair to educate 80 Indianapolis Met students, collaboration with a local organization that works with people with disabilities, and a fair for children with disabilities at a local elementary school.
- A student-written and performed play gives a positive message to elementary students.

Highlights of 2007 graduates:

Four of the five 2007 graduates currently are enrolled in post-secondary education. The fifth student is registered for classes in the fall.
